Well, I am hoping to get NY City dating released for development very soon. One of the things that I have been concerned with
is that the osDate developers were adding way to much to the script, which not everyone required. Personally I just want a script that does the job. If I want any add ons I would prefer to add them myself.
This is why, apart from the Widgets that Chris added to the origional Fusion script will remain, but unless the widget is required as core, then these won't be added.
How will we deliver these? There are several ways that I am looking at right now. The one that I am thinking of at the moment is doing something similar to osCommerce where the user uploads the files, this is moderated and then made available to download. If the developer of the script requires payment for this then I will be happy to add a payment gateway onto the site to allow this to be done. All payments will be made via PayPal if this is the case.
I want to keep this as simple as possible and it is no good having all these add ons, if they don't work.
Feel free to develop widgets for the development script. If you can speak any language other than English, then if you could help translate the files it would be appreciated. I would ask that you wait until the stable release is made just in case we need to add anything to them.
