I downloaded iOS5 a few weeks ago now for my iPhone, it took a while to install, but what an improvement. One thing that I do like is Find My iPhone. Whilst searching on how to use this, I found a lot of mis-informed posts about the lack of Desktop/Laptop access. This is in fact not true, you can easily access Find my iPhone on your desktop. To do this you will also need to register for iCloud. To use find my iPhone using your desktop/laptop, go to www.icloud.com, log into iCloud using your Apple ID and password. Then simply follow the links for the find my iPhone function.
Simple as that
